Bio
Glenn Corcoran is a Northern Virginia-based drummer, keyboardist, guitarist, producer, and live sound engineer with five decades of active performing and recording experience.
His performing career spans high school gyms, DC-area bars and restaurants, church stages, and winery circuits across Northern Virginia. On the sound engineering side, he provided live audio and multitrack recording support for a variety of bands over the years. That work covers original bands, cover acts, church productions, winery residencies, and independent recording across rock, R&B, jazz-fusion, country, and roots rock.
DrumZombie is his current original music project, launched as a vehicle for releasing the catalog of songs and ideas that accumulated over a lifetime of playing covers and band originals. Every release is human-directed and built under the SOTA Music Certified standard, combining live performance roots with advanced AI-assisted production tools.

DrumZombie
DrumZombie is the original music project Glenn has been building toward for five decades of performing. It combines live performance roots with human creative direction, AI-assisted arrangement and vocal generation via Suno Pro, and overdub and finishing work in Cubase. Every release carries the SOTA Music Certified designation, documenting the human authorship behind each track.
The catalog is distributed globally via Ditto Music and available on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and all major platforms.

The Genre Range
DrumZombie releases an eclectic variety of genres and genre fusions spanning influences from jazz, indie rock, alternative rock, country, Americana, yacht rock, roots rock, hip hop, easy listening and electronic. That range is not random and it is not a branding decision.
It is the natural output of someone who has spent fifty years inside the music. The same ear that navigated jazz-fusion and R&B is the one that hears the pedal steel placement in a country track or the harmonic color in a yacht rock arrangement. The range in the catalog reflects the range in the career, and then some.
Artist Statement
I have been playing music since 1973. That is not a credential, it is just context. What it means practically is that I have sat behind a kit in enough rooms, with enough different amazing players and artists, across enough different styles, to know what a song needs before it is finished.
DrumZombie exists because I finally have the tools to produce original music the way I hear it in my head. Suno Pro handles the arrangement and vocal generation. Cubase handles the overdubs, the finishing, and the decisions that require a human ear. I direct both. The AI does not write the songs. It builds from the brief I give it, then I fix what it gets wrong and keep what it gets right.
The SOTA Music Certified standard is my way of being transparent about that process. Not defensive about it. Every instrument in music history was once a new tool that someone had to defend using. The electric guitar. The synthesizer. The drum machine. I am not interested in the argument. I am interested in the work.
